Record the pack, not just the area
“9 m² of tiles” can leave a purchasing question unanswered. “5 boxes at 1.8 m² per box” says what the estimate assumes you will buy. Keep the product name or reference beside that quantity.
The tile planner prints net area, allowance, pack rounding and your entered price. The flooring planner can add a separate underlay line.
Make missing costs visible
Use a named currency, and keep any missing prices visible. A subtotal of entered prices is not a complete project budget. Labour, delivery and accessories may add costs that the material calculator does not include.
For paint, keep each product’s coats, coverage, tin size and quantity on its own line. These details let you recalculate if the shop has a different size available.
Save the measurements for the next visit
Choose Save project after calculating, then reopen it from Saved projects. Projects live in this browser on this device. Export a backup to keep a copy or import it on another device.
You can print without saving. The print button opens your browser’s print dialog, where you can choose a printer or a PDF destination if the browser supports it.
