How to use the flooring calculator
- Add each room as a separate area. Exclude spaces that will not receive the selected flooring.
- Enter the stated pack coverage and your chosen waste percentage. All areas here use the same flooring product.
- Include underlay if needed, with its own coverage and price. Save a separate project for a different flooring product.
A worked example
Example: two rooms measuring 4 × 3 m and 3 × 2 m total 18 m². With a selected 10% allowance, 19.8 m² is required. Packs covering 2.2 m² give exactly 9 packs.
